CLEO training assists Tribal Conservation Officers maintain their qualifications, as required by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Native American Fish & Wildlife Society (Society) will hold training in different geographic locations during 2015. If you need to receive training by certified Federal instructors, please register for upcoming courses. The class size may be limited to 40 participants with preference given to conservation law enforcement in the geographic area where the course is held. Travel costs for the Tribal Conservation Officers may be offered, as funding permits. If the date and location for a particular training event is filled, please select "Need the course" event (a waiting list) and fill out the requested information. When location, instructors and funding for scheduling an additional training is available, the Society will schedule a course in a geographical location best suited to maximize the number of Conservation Law Enforcement Officers that can attend. Updates on new training events will be forwarded by email to those on the waiting list.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Registering for course is not a confirmation that a seat is reserved. Each registrant is verified that they are a Conservation Law Enforcement Officer (or equivalent) and/or needs this training for re-certification. Emails and/or a phone call will be used to confirm acceptance for the course.
You do not need to log-in or register for this site to complete a registration form for the training event.
